About Your Dentist

Born and raised in Cuba, Dr Liena Abreus first became a dentist in 2004, when she graduated as General Dentist from Havana's Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas. She moved to the States in 2008 and she worked diligently to achieve her dream of becoming a dentist again. After being accepted by the University of Minnesota, she graduated as a Doctor in Dental Surgery in 2017.

Dr. Abreus is a member of the the Academy of General Dentistry. A nerd at heart, she values continuing education to stay at the top of new technologies and techniques. Her warm personality and genuine interest in her patient's best, make her an excellent professional to whom patients come back year after year.

Dr. Abreus has a beautiful family. In her free time, she enjoys spending time by the beach with her husband Emilio and their children John and Nina. Dr Abreus' family is excited to make Myrtle Beach home and they look forward to many years of service to our community.

La Doctora Liena Abreus se recibió como Odontóloga con altos honores en Cuba en el 2004 - y desde entonces su vida ha estado ligada a la Odontología.

Tras emigrar a Estados Unidos, y luego de años de esfuerzo y dedicación, en el 2017 se diplomó como Cirujana Dental en la prestigiosa Universidad de Minnesota.

La Doctora Liena Abreus afiliaciones profesionales incluyen la Asociación Americana de Dentistas, la Asociacion de Dentistas de Carolina del Sur y de Minnesota. Miembro además de la Academia de Dentistas Generales y la Academia de Estomatología Cosmética (AGD y AACD por sus siglas en Inglés, respectivamente).

Con su personalidad cálida y su trato honesto y afable, la Doctora Abreus es muy querida por sus pacientes, niños y adultos, quienes regresan a ella año tras año para estar bajo sus cuidados.

Liena, su esposo Emilio y sus hijos John y Nina, aman Myrtle Beach y han formado su hogar en esta comunidad playera. Orgullosa de ofrecer sus talentos como doctora bilingüe, la Doctora Abreus le da la bienvenida a The Mill Dental Care, a todos los pacientes Hispanos de nuestra comunidad- !Estamos para servirles!

In addition to an elective mini-residency in TMJ and oral-facial pain disorders, Dr. Laoutaris completed a General Practice Residency at the New York Hospital Queens, followed by a one-year intensive fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Hospital Cornell. He then pursued a second General Practice Residency at the New York Hospital Queens, with a concentration in dental implants and full mouth reconstruction.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Laoutaris has been happily married to his wife, Donna, who is also a practicing dentist, for over 20 years and the couple has three children. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Sinex was raised in diverse environments and cultures and is excited to call the Grand Strand of South Carolina home. Beyond dentistry, she loves exploring vibrant food and dessert scenes and indulging in relaxing Lifetime and Netflix movies. She also enjoys hiking, traveling, shopping, and spending quality time with her amazing son, husband, family, and friends. Fun fact: Dr. Sinex's favorite pastime is home organization.
